I loved being a part of grocery delivery where we raised money and organized groceries to be sent to members of the community who were unable to shop during COVID! What do you do outside of KDSAP? I am involved with the Beekeeping club, PATCH, and I do undergraduate native bee research in the Danforth Lab |

What is your favorite memory from KDSAP? I learned so much from Dr. Hoenig’s talk last Spring, and really appreciated her expertise and passion for the field What do you do outside of KDSAP? I am involved in GlobeMed at Cornell, Club Taekwondo, and undergraduate research! |

Year: 2024 Why did you join KDSAP? KDSAP is not just about educating and promoting kidney disease awareness. This organization provides students the opportunity to make a real impact on the Ithaca community through kidney screening. What is your favorite memory from KDSAP? My favorite event is the screening training sessions because I get to meet fellow students who all share an enthusiasm for medicine and helping people. What do you do outside of KDSAP? I am in Dr. O'Brien's Lab where I do research on iron and vitamin d absorption. I am also a part of the Recreational Fencing Club At Cornell! |

What is your favorite memory from KDSAP? I am involved with Knit with Care, the Language Expansion Program, and do skin stem cell research in Dr. White's lab. What do you do outside of KDSAP? I really enjoy contributing to the Ithaca community through the screenings and meeting fellow students passionate about healthcare. |

Year: 2025 Why did you join KDSAP? I joined KDSAP because I love its mission, and I wanted to become more involved with the underserved population in Ithaca! What is your favorite memory from KDSAP? My favorite memory was being on the Events Committee. Making care packages for dialysis patients was my favorite thing we did! What do you do outside of KDSAP? I'm involved with the American Cancer Society chapter on campus, along with the Cornell Red Cross. I also conduct research in the Tschida Lab, where we examine mice vocalizations and the underlying neural mechanisms. |

Addressing kidney disease is especially important to me because it is a problem which runs in my family and also a condition that I suffer from. What is your favorite memory from KDSAP? Screenings are easily my favorite memories from KDSAP; interacting with people and getting to know that we are providing a service that they need is very gratifying. What do you do outside of KDSAP? I engage in research outside of KDSAP. |

What is your favorite memory from KDSAP? My favorite memory from KDSAP is connecting with patients at the screenings. What do you do outside of KDSAP? Outside of KDSAP, I am an EMT, Fundraising/Social Chair of Cornell's Habitat for Humanity Chapter, and a research assistant in a herpesvirus lab. |
